So, yesterday, Nick proposed. It was incredibly cute. He surprised me with a picnic and it was gorgeous out. The ring is so pretty too! We went to his parents house afterwords and got steak dinner on top of it.
I'm so excited. I feel so old now! Haha. |

So I move in on the 24th... I'm excited. A bit terrified but ecstatic. I unfortunately did not win the football lottery for tickets but all is well, I'm sure I'll still attend a game or two by buying tickets off kids who can't go. Classes are exciting. I don't actually own anything that I need other than like clothes. Oops? I'm not too worried.
Ronja, hope you're having fun in Europe! We should get together sometime after you get back and before classes start up since we never did manage to.
Also, is everyone else entirely bummed about HP being moved back? *fume* |

The above link is an article written about a mother of a classmate of mine and a teacher of mine. It's the most bogus thing I have ever read. Not only does the daughter (who's in my class/ was on the cheer squad) refuse to even open her mind to the fact that people are gay but she goes as far as to pull this crap and get a teacher, who's pretty awesome and only doing her job, in trouble.
Social Psych is an elective that srs take and mostly it's only for the field trip where we get to listen to a group at the UW-Madison campus and then go to the mall all while assuming another role (like dressing/acting goth, gay, disabled etc) and so now we can't go but Dom (the teacher) is pushing at least for the mall bit.
It's so frustrating that this bible thumper can push her opinion on the rest of us and yet whenever someone disagrees with them they're liberal gay people. Who apparently are Nazish. According a comment made....
Whatever people, grow up.
Anway, we have like 5 weeks left of school. I'm going to UW-Madison and totally can't wait to graduate. Hope everyone's doing well. |

It's been ages. I guess the only big things going on are...
-snow; and a whole lot of it. It's been a record breaking year.
-basketball; the boys and girls won conference. Well the girls are tied with Verona but if they win Friday they'll full out win. We have two more season games and then play off games. Mondays game was huge though. The entire gym was filled and it was nuts and there was camera crews and wow. It was a close game, I was interviewed and everything at the end because Matt and Mitch pretty much glomped me after haha. So that was crazy, it was deafening. And, it was the last time we'd play Verona (Ronja's old high school) because they're moving out of the conference next year.
-school; the semester's done! 109 days until graduation. It's marvelous. I don't think I could manage a fourth year in high school. New classes are okay I suppose not too great.
-college; I haven't heard back from any school but Tulane so far. It makes me nervous but it's okay. I have a few more weeks before I should expect anything. My financial aid stuff is due on friday and mom has yet to finish her part of it. so that sucks...a lot.

So first quarter ended last week and it's pretty scary. Only 3/4's of my senior year left. I've finished my applications for Cornell (gah!) and Tulane. I need to do the UW Madison one. It's all really intimidating and it makes me feel really dumb and boring.
Football season is over, thank god. And basketball season is right around the corner. It's pretty exciting. I hope this year will go really well. I've become friends with one of the main guys on the team so that's good. Plus Tasha and Chels are friends with one or two as well so go team.
Things with Nick are going good. I'm thinking about having him come up and see me over winter break or me going there, but it'll just depend. He came up in Oct. And he's adorable and I really like him.
Overall, life is alright. I can't wait for thanksgiving break and then christmas break. |

Wow, so lately I've decided to give myself over to my love of alcohol.
Let's see...friday was Mikes going away party with lots of beer and tequilla. Saturday was blender night. I had more random drinks that I can name and got totally sloshed. Sunday I drank some including finding a damn the weather. Yeah, tonight, due to grr stuff I toast life with a damn the weather, heavy on the alcy light on the juice. Good job life, you win you beat me...again. woo.
In other words school starts too soon. I already like AP Bio too much. I will kill something about getting up at 7 (or so) everday. Cheer stuff is sucky already, due one of the 5 black people in school (who'd have guessed?). We've taken to saying hate crime when she's bugging us. Oh man we're intense. Um...I think that's all.

Cheer stuff is alriiiiight except 7 of the girls decided against dancing. Which you know they could have said oooh on friday when I handed out all the sheets for it all and such. The worst bit they're using practices as boyfriend time. It's bull. Blah on them.

Heather is up in the hospital. She has some disease that gives her really high blood pressure, it was up to 199/120 or so. Which can really harm the baby. However she's about 6 weeks premature and the baby is about 3 pounds and some oz. Yeah really tiny. They gave her steroids so that its lungs develope. Gah. They want her blood pressure to go down, but its most likely that the baby will be delieved within the next few days.

It took me like 15 min to fill in stuff and another 5 to do the things I didn't know off the top of my head.

I have my Chem test tomorrow...ugh.
Oh and my band exam...joy.
See, I haven't looked at my stuff since well Nov. 22nd.
Until today, I can't even play the second one.
I'm fucked.
I need atleast a 65 on the solo.
Because scales are 20.
I might get extra credit for knowing them like by heart.
Shit.
If I get less than an 85, I have to find some way to make up the missed points to get an A in the semester. Gah.
I hate this exam thing.
I like written tests, I always fret over practicle ones.
The chem teacher was going to give us a choice over written or lab work exams.
OH my I'd have died if I had to do a lab. *sigh*
I should be sleeping or looking at the band stuff.

The boyfriend, Kevin is being a dummy. He's like gay. No joke. Well maybe not, but I don't know.
Heh. I dont know how much longer this one will last.
Doubtful to hit two months.
